Saginaw Pump Install
For more flow and better performance, you can't beat a sag.
The old pump ![]() remove the intake hose for more room ![]() remove fan belt ![]() I have a hydroboost on my bronco thus the braided lines ![]() remover the 4 bolts holding the AC pump in place ![]() I used a strap to hold it up out of the way, take care not to bend the ac lines ![]() Remove the bolts that hold the pump and bracket in place ![]() Heres my old pump in front of 3 sags, couple are off of 351 engines and one is from a 5.0, regardless the brackets are all the same ![]() ![]() add the adapter I need for my braided fittings ![]() Heres the hole with the pump and bracket removed ![]() dropping the sag in place ![]() bolt the ac pump on ![]() looks like it belongs ![]() stock belt fits ![]() need to make a longer line ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() pic of the hydro boost from a f450 ![]() finish off with the install of the intake hose ![]() ![]() little tight to get the cap off ![]() thats it, fill it up and bleed - proper way to do is is by dconnecting your drag link and cycle the wheel back and forth - no whining. ![]() |
